Our Story
As the founder of Ekhambee pronounced (Ee-kham-bee), I started like most businesses producing my products in my home to solve the basic skincare needs of me and my family.
I'd slather on tinted lotions and makeup since I was embarrassed with my skin appearance and not happy that I looked tired all the time. One day one my daughter grabbed my hand and said what is that smell? She said, “Your hands stink!” I realized the smell was from the tinted lotion I used daily. My daughter caught a whiff of a not-so-pleasant smell. Turns out, my trusty lotion was full of toxic ingredients linked to cancer! Yikes! I become concerned about the smell and looked up safety of the lotion’s ingredients. That's when I decided to use my problem solving skill as an engineer and put my skills to work by creating my own all-natural skincare. The results were too excellent not to go larger and share with more women.
Skin issues can be a bummer, especially when skin problems like white dots on face, neck discoloration, and dry dark patches on skin, and clogged armpit pores make an unwelcome appearance.
My goal is to help black women and women of color feel confident in their skin without worrying about harmful chemicals.

Ekhambee was birthed out of my desire to create an alternative to harmful chemicals involved in making today’s skincare products. Therefore, As a Black-owned skincare brand, I and dedicated to ensuring that we make all natural and non-toxic products.
